International text from Canada

Now you can reach more friends and family across the globe. Bell’s international text messaging coverage is supported by over 1,000 international mobile operators.

How you do it

Text from Canada to anywhere in the world for $0.35/message2. Received messages are $0.20 each2. If you subscribe to an unlimited international text messaging plan, sent and received texts from Canada to the rest of the world are free.

To send a message internationally:

  1. Enter the exit code for Canada (also called the international access code)
  2. Enter the country code + area code + mobile phone number of the person you are texting.
Example: if you are texting to a mobile number in the Philippines (country code 63), the complete mobile phone number may look like this:
