Bell currently offers the following accessibility services, discounts and no-charge services.
- Relay service
Lets people with hearing or speech disabilities communicate with hearing persons by phone with the help of trained operators. - Voice Carry Over
Allows people who have hearing loss to talk by using their voice to the person they are calling. - Hearing Carry Over
Allows people who have speech disabilities to listen to the person they are calling . - Operator Assistance
If eligible, operators can place local calls and navigate Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems for you, free of charge. The surcharge for operator assisted long distance calls is also waived. - Free Directory Assistance
If eligible, you may be exempt from paying local and long distance Directory Assistance and Automatic Directory Assistance Call Completion charges. - Alternate formats
Upon request, you can get your bills, inserts and more in the alternate format that suits you best. - Long distance discount
If eligible, TTY/teletypewriter users who register can get a 50% reduction in long distance calls. - Touch-Tone service discount
If you need assistive devices to use your home phone service, you may be eligible for a monthly reduced rate. - Calling cards
