Bell receives innovation award for Accelerated installation

Bell was honoured last month with the Telephony Innovation Award for Most Innovative Customer Service for the Accelerated installation service (AIS), a fee-based premium installation service for business clients. The award recognizes service providers who have developed unique or first-to-market offerings that use technology or address customers' needs in a new way.

The Accelerated installation service from Bell – the first of its kind in Canada – offers clients an alternative when they need their service installed more quickly than the usual timeframes, using the same concepts available to clients of postal or courier services for overnight shipping and delivery, or in retail for express lines. Business clients can sign up to get AIS for any new service, no matter how complex.

"We are very honoured to receive this award, which recognizes our focus on improving the customer experience by giving clients options to pay for an accelerated installation if and when they need it," said Juan M. Ramos, Senior Director for Enterprise Marketing.
