National Do Not Call List in place for more than a month… are you compliant?

The National Do Not Call List went live on September 30, with an overwhelming response from Canadian consumers. Now that the List has been in place for more than a month, the CRTC has the legislative authority to impose monetary penalties on any telemarketer that violates the Unsolicited Telecommunication Rules.

Whether you operate a large outbound contact centre or rely on business development professionals to contact customers on an individual basis, the introduction of these new regulations presents significant new business challenges and opportunities for your organization.

Do Not Call solutions from Bell ensure that your direct sales activities are continually monitored in real time so that each consumer contact – wherever it might occur – remains consistent with your company’s policies and the new legislation. These solutions seamlessly integrate into your existing business processes with a simple-to-use interface and detailed reports that allow you to conveniently track all call activity. They also provide easy audit trail reporting to demonstrate compliance with the new regulatory framework.
