The evolving network: Tools and applications for better productivity and communication

– A letter from the executive office

Evolution is, by definition, a process that involves a series of steps, and that is especially true in the case of a network's evolution.

Last month we took a look at the first step in that evolution: how to evaluate your network as a starting point for turning it into a strategic asset. This month we go deeper by examining the technologies and tools you can use to realize this evolution.

The truth is that most organizations know there are applications and processes available that can transform their networks, but they have questions. What productivity issues do I have that the network can address? Which applications are right for us? What is the investment rationale here?

We've put together some great resources to help you answer these questions. There is an Assessment tool for maximizing productivity through the network, and we'll show you how to make the business case for Unified Communications. We've also got a great article on how you can evolve your network to simplify and save.

If you want to start getting more out of your network, check out these resources and contact us for an audit of your environment or an overview of how we can help.

As always, we welcome your feedback on the tools and resources we offer you in Impact and on any other aspect of our services.
