Broadcast Ethernet service
Bell understands that media and entertainment providers have unique needs when it comes to network services. That's why we provide reliable, secure connections that are flexible enough to adapt to your requirements without compromising performance.
Whether you have occasional or permanent needs, Bell has a broadcast solution to keep pace with demand at all times.
Full-time vs. occasional services
Full-time services provide permanent connections – for example, from your television studio to your transmitter site – for periods of 30 days or more.
Occasional services provide flexibility with rates per 15 minutes, per hour, per day, per week or per month. They're perfect for special events, concerts, sports coverage, and more.
Local services
Local services allow you to transmit audio and video signals between two sites, or between one site and a nearby Bell television operating centre.
Service options include:
- NTSC, SDI, ASI or HD-SDI transmissions
- Broadcast Ethernet service, up to 100 Mbps
- Multiple bit rates ranging from 45 Mbps to 1.5 Gbps
- Full-time or occasional services
Bell also offers occasional renting of BENG (Broadcast Electronic News Gathering) boxes in over 100 sites across Ontario and Québec and in Vancouver.
Interexchange services
Interexchange services allow for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint video transmission. Bell's network infrastructure spans major cities across Canada and the United States.
Service options include:
- NTSC, SDI, ASI or MPEG-2 transmissions
- Multiple bit rates ranging from 45 Mbps to 270 Mbps
- Full-time or occasional services
