Business Internet Security Pack includes an enhanced version of Business Internet Security as well as the Business Vault and the Disk Optimizer tool to diagnose and repair performance issues.

Activating your Business Internet Security Pack software is a simple essential step in order to ensure that you have the latest protection against new and emerging computer threats. Not having your software activated while accessing the Internet will increase your chances of being infected by new emerging viruses and won't provide you with access to our new remote back-up facilities.

You have two options to activate your software:

• Clicking on the download button provided in your welcome email.
• Directly installing the software from the CD you receive when you sign-up for the service.

This software automatically tunes up the computer on a regularly scheduled basis without any effort on your part. It performs three functions:

• Disk defragmentation to ensure files and programs are accessed quickly
• Initiates clean-up to remove clutter and repair drive problems that slow down performance
• Registry optimization resulting in quicker program start-up.

Web Privacy Control protects your computer from fraud by blocking web sites that masquerade as being trustworthy. These web sites attempt to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords and credit card information.

Business Internet Security Pack customers are billed monthly.

Business Vault is a secure, online backup service offered by Bell. Simply choose which files you want to backup and the software will securely back them up in a secure storage facility hosted by Bell. You also have access to the Business Vault web site. Use your browser to access all of your backed up files and share selected files.

Business Vault has been designed for extreme ease of use and its features are easily accessible. You'll quickly see that there is very little learning involved to use this great service. Once set up, Business Vault backs up your selected data automatically, without your intervention.

Definitely. Business Vault has been optimized for Bell business DSL and BIU products and will work with other high-speed connections.

Computers crash, hard drives fail and files become corrupt. Business documents, images and e-mails can be lost forever due to these events - unless they are safely and securely backed up. Business Vault offers secure offsite storage. If such a disaster was to occurred, your critical data would be safe.

Yes. Click on the "Buy more space" link on your Business Vault web site and follow the steps. Extra storage can be purchased at any time and will be available within 60 minutes after confirmation of your purchase.

We recommend that you backup any files that would represent a significant loss to you if you computer failed. This may include images, videos, music, e-mail, contacts and financial records.

Using backup manager your data is always encrypted when it is being sent to, or from, the secure Bell Data Centre storage facility.

No. Passwords are encrypted to make sure you’re the only one with access to your data. Others can only access your data if you give them your password.

CD, DVD or external drive backup is cumbersome and time consuming. Not only do you have to manually backup all of your files, you have to remember what you have not backed up. Business Vault is automatic and can backup changes or additions to your files daily. CD, DVD or external drives are in your home. If a disaster happened at your business or at the CD, all of your documents and files would be lost forever. Business Vault is offsite so your files will not be lost.

Use the Business Vault backup manager on any computer with high-speed Internet access to restore data from your Business Vault.

The length of time of your backup depends on 2 things: how many files you're backing up and the speed of your Internet connection. The faster your connection, the quicker your backup.

Yes. However, the speed of your service can be improved by upgrading to Business Internet Basic or any of the Business High Speed services.

Yes. Simply click on the images or photos you would like to print in your Business Vault and click on "Print". You will be given options to print them on your printer or get them professionally printed.

Business Vault easily lets you share your backed-up photos. Simply choose the photos you want to share and the contacts you want to send them to. Your contacts will receive a link by e-mail to a slideshow of your chosen photos. Music and video files are streamed and other files can be downloaded.

Business Vault lets you access your backed up files remotely. You can also add new photos while away. Just log in to your Business Vault from any computer with a high-speed connection and click "Upload".
