We thought you might have a few questions about your new service, below are some quick tips to help you get started:
1. Your Digital Voice service will start working approximately 3 business days following your order, unless you've requested a specific activation date.
2. With the Digital Voice service, you'll get a new voicemail box. On the day your service starts working, you'll get a new voicemail box that will replace your existing one (if you have one). Please make sure you listen to all of your voicemails in advance - unfortunately we are not able to transfer any saved messages from your old to your new voice mailbox. We apologize for this inconvenience, but we know you'll enjoy the new enhanced features you will get - like being able to check your voicemails via e-mail!
You'll need to dial in and access your new voicemail box to activate it.
Follow these simple steps:
Remember, messages in your existing voicemail box (if you have one) will be deleted, so, make sure you listen to them before your Digital Voice service begins working.
3. You'll receive a Welcome Kit in the mail containing information to help you understand the service
If you want to get a head start and learn about your new service, you can download our online Welcome Kit now.
4. You'll need to access your Online Account Manager to customize and fully take advantage of the features included with your service. Refer to the Welcome Letter included in your Welcome Kit for your username and password, and for instructions on how to access the Online Account Manager (page 4).
