Using the unique characteristics of a customer’s voice, the new Voice Identification service from Bell quickly identifies who’s calling to enable our agents to spend more time on what really matters – your question.
Before you can benefit from the free service, you must register a sample of your voice. Registering for the Voice Identification service is simple and takes about 2 minutes.

If you call 310-BELL or Bell Mobility, you’ll also get the chance to register for VIS. Have your bill handy so that you can provide your account number. To get a sample of your voice, the system will ask you to repeat “At Bell, my voice is my password” up to 4 times. You can give others to access to your account by having them record their own voice samples.
Once registered, after you’ve entered your phone number, you’ll only need to repeat the same phrase as above to access your account information through self-serve or by speaking to an agent. The service will compare your voice to the recorded voice sample to check for a match.
The Voice Identification service is currently available for clients of our residential home phone service and of our wireless service on a monthly personal rate plan, in all area codes served by Bell. Expansion of the service to Internet and television clients is planned.
