To verify your current software version on the Samsung Omnia:

• Select Start.
• Select Settings.
• Select the System tab.
• Select Version.

To verify your current software version on the Samsung Ace:

• Select Start.
• Select Settings.
• Select More.
• Select More.
• Select Phone Information.
• Scroll down to S/W Version. The software version for the Samsung Ace is located beside the Phone field.

If your version is different than what is listed below, you should update it now. If you have an application that has been designed for your specific smartphone or a company application, please verify with your IT department prior to upgrading your software.

Before upgrading the software, ensure you have installed Microsoft ActiveSync (Windows XP) or Windows Mobile Device Centre (Windows Vista) and that it can connect to your Samsung smartphone. Once connected, download and install the appropriate software update linked below.
