Bell Athletes Connect


It takes hard work and determination for an athlete to succeed. It takes having the proper tools. The Bell Athletes Connect program provides Canada's athletes with these tools, allowing them to focus on the podium.

An athlete's travel, training and competition schedule is hectic. Staying connected to coaches, fellow athletes, friends and family while remaining focused on performance can be challenging. Through the program, Bell helps by providing 2,000 Canadian athletes annually with access to free mobile phones and airtime.

Initiated in 1997 in partnership with AthletesCAN, the Athletes Connect program offers comprehensive telecommunications services to Canada's senior national team athletes currently competing at the Olympic, Paralympic, Pan American, Commonwealth and senior world champion levels.
