Important information regarding Call Answer and Message Manager
Great news. We’re upgrading Call Answer and Message Manager at no extra charge. This upgrade will allow Bell to introduce new features and applications. Due to the high number of voicemailboxes in the system, migration to the upgraded service will begin in 2011 and be completed in 2013. You’ll be notified 14 days and again two days prior to your voicemailbox migration.
Important notes about your voicemail migration:
On the day of your migration, your existing greetings will be migrated to your new voicemailbox.
Your voicemail password will not change.
All messages in your voicemailbox at the time of migration will be automatically migrated.
It is expected that most systems will be out of service for a maximum of nine hours overnight.
There are no changes to the features or functionality of your voicemailbox.
Incoming calls during the migration period will not be routed to your voicemailbox; the person calling you will hear ringing with no answer. If you call in to retrieve your messages, you will hear ringing with no answer. See below if you require voicemail during the system upgrade period.
There will be two ways to access your voicemail remotely. You can:
Dial your own number, press 9 and follow the user prompts, or
Dial the new toll-free number (1 877 235-5777) within Canada and the United States, and follow the prompts.
We hope you will enjoy the enhancements we’re making. If you have any questions about the upgrade or the benefits of Call Answer and Message Manager, please call us at 1 877 235-5777.
