How do I Configure email settings for Outlook Express 5 and 6 for my PC?

Configuring your email settings.

Step 1: Open your version of Outlook Express.

Step 2: Click on Tools -> Accounts.

Step 3: Click on the Mail tab.

Step 4: Click on the Add -> Mail on the right.

Step 5: Type the name that you would like to appear on messages that you send in the Display Name box (e.g., John Doe or Company name).

Step 6: Click Next.

Step 7: Type your email address in the Email address box.

Step 8: Click Next.

Step 9: Select POP3 in My incoming mail server is a server box.

Step 10: Type pop.bellnet.ca in Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server.

Step 11: Type smtp.bellnet.ca in Outgoing mail (SMTP) server.

Step 12: Click Next.

Step 13: Enter your email address in Account Name (e.g., johndoe@bellnet.ca).

Step 14: Enter your 8-character alphanumeric password in Password.

Step 15: Check the box labelled Remember password.

Step 16: Click Next.

Step 17: Click Finish.

Step 18: Click Close.
