| 1. | If I sign-up for the Online Bill Manager (OBM) service, will I still receive my paper bills? | Show |
Yes. You will continue to receive your paper bills as usual. The OBM service provides you with the added benefit of viewing your billing statements online and analyzing your billing information using online reports. OBM users have the option to cancel receipt of their paper bills by mail for Voice and IP / Broad Band accounts registered on OBM. To suppress paper invoices, OBM Administrators and Billing Managers can use the self-serve option located in the Registration — View / Edit section of the Online Bill Manager Registration tool, by choosing the Paper Suppression tab and completing the instructions.
| 2. | How will I know when my Bell bills are available? | Show |
OBM provides automatic email notifications to users as soon as new bills become available. Notifications are sent to the registered user's email address as entered at registration in the Bell Business Portal. This email address can be changed at any time by accessing your profile on the Bell Business Portal (https://www.interaction.bell.ca). Click on 'Change Profile', then 'Change Personal Information'.

Complete the online registration form with your name, contact information, and information for one of the accounts you want to register (voice service bill recommended). You'll need the account number, amount due, and postal code from your most recent account statement. You can add more accounts to the OBM service at any time. Use of OBM is free to all Bell customers. OBM excludes Bell Mobility and Bell TV services.

| 4. | What is the Bell Business Portal? | Show |
The Bell Business Portal gives business customers access to a wide variety of applications provided by Bell, including the OBM service. You can sign-up for the OBM service using an online form in the Business Portal. Select one of the following sign-up options:
- If you already have a Username (YourName@eportal), log into the Business Portal and go to the Registration Centre to access the sign-up form.
- If you don't have a Username, you'll have the opportunity to select a Username when you sign-up.
| 5. | What types of accounts can I view in the OBM service? | Show |
You can view your Bell accounts containing long distance, voice, toll-free, data packet, equipment, IP/Broadband charges, outright sales, other charges and credits directory advertising information, as well as charges related to National Summary Billing, Bell West, Aliant, Télébec and NorthernTel. Currently, the OBM Service excludes Bell Mobility or Bell TV billing accounts, however more account types will be added to the service in the future.
| 6. | Will all of my accounts automatically be added to the OBM service? | Show |
No. You must manually enter the accounts you wish to register on OBM. To register an account you will need the following: billing account number, amount due of last invoice and postal code/zip code. | 7. | When will my statements be available online? | Show |
For each account you register with the Online Bill Manager service, your account statement will be available online within 5 to 10 business days after the billing date.
| 8. | How many months of billing information will be stored online? | Show |
Statement Information: Account billing statements for the previous 12 months plus the current month are stored online. This information will gradually accumulate once you register an account with the OBM service.
Reporting Information: Detailed billing information for the previous 3 months plus the current month is stored online. This information will gradually accumulate once you register an account with the OBM service.

You can choose to pay your account statements using pre-authorized debit, pre-authorized credit, one-time debit and one-time credit payments.
| 10. | Is there a limit to the number of payments I can make on my account online each day via Online Bill Manager? | Show |
Yes. The daily limit for online payments via OBM is 12 payments per account.
| 11. | How many employees within my organization can use the OBM service? | Show |
There is presently no limit as to how many user IDs you can create. Account access and permission assignment is managed via your administrator account.
| 12. | Can I decide which accounts each user can view? | Show |
Your OBM administrator controls the information that each user can view online. Users are only able to view statements and run reports on accounts and services to which the administrator has provided access.
| 13. | I just registered in OBM but I don't see anything. Is there something wrong? | Show |
No. A delay will occur between bill registration and when your data will be ready to view. Data is usually available within 2 business days following registration.
| 14. | I've registered for OBM. Why can't I see my previous bills? | Show |
OBM will begin to collect your billing data at the time that you register your account and ongoing from this period. OBM will only collect data for those bills that have been registered with the service.
| 15. | I've been registered on OBM for just over a year now. Why can't I see the first invoice from when I registered? | Show |
OBM stores a total of 13 months of bills, consisting of your bills from the current month plus bills from the past 12 months. When the 14th month arrives, the 1st month is deleted. Remember to include OBM billing data as part of your company's overall data backup and archiving plan to ensure you have all the billing information you need to taxation or legal purposes.
| 16. | I can't seem to register my Sympatico account in OBM. What am I doing wrong? | Show |
OBM can only register Bell business accounts. Sympatico is classified as a consumer internet account, not a business account, thus it cannot be registered on OBM. The Bell SMB product equivalent to Sympatico is Business Internet Highspeed (BIHS). BIHS can be registered in OBM.
