General terms and governing law

These terms continue to apply even if, for any period of time, we do not insist upon or enforce their performance. If a court determines that a term is void, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, the other terms will continue to apply with the necessary changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province you live in. If you do not live in Canada, disputes will be handled by the courts of Toronto, in Ontario.

If our website is used for purposes other than personal, all claims and other disputes you may have against us under the law, whether in contract, tort, contractual or extra-contractual liability or otherwise, in connection with your use of the website, will be determined by final and binding arbitration by a single arbitrator, to the exclusion of the courts, in the province or territory of your residence, in accordance with:

  • the arbitration policy at bell.ca/arbitrationpolicy, as amended; and
  • the applicable arbitration legislation in effect in the province or territory where you reside.

If you reside outside of Canada, the arbitration shall take place in Ontario, in accordance with the arbitration legislation in effect in that province.
