Changes to your Bell service rates.
Bell is leading Canada’s broadband communications revolution with investments of more than $3.5 billion each year in network infrastructure. That’s more than any other communications company in Canada. These investments enable us to keep providing exceptional new features, even faster and more reliable Internet and world-class entertainment.
In order to support these enhancements as well as the exponential growth in use of communications services – last year alone our network traffic grew by nearly 40% – we’ll be adjusting some of our monthly rates as of February 1, 2017.
While all major consumer services companies adjust their rates periodically, at Bell, we work really hard to limit our rate adjustments. New features and services fuelled by Bell’s investment in innovation.
Fibe TV app – We’ve upgraded our Fibe TV app so Fibe TV customers can benefit from the Trending feature and enjoy an image quality up to 2x better.
More TV, more recordings – We’ve upgraded our service so customers that have fibre to the home can now watch up to 10 HD shows simultaneously and record up to 6 shows at once.
4K – Bell launched 4K, the best picture quality available, and introduced its 4K PVR along with it. The PVR provides the largest recording capacity and is completely wireless.
Fastest Internet technology – This past year, we’ve connected more homes to our fibre-to-the-home technology. There’s now over 2.5 million homes that have access to the fastest Internet technology, which provides speeds of up to 1 Gbps.
Apple TV – Fibe TV customers can now access their TV service, as well as their photos, music, games and favourite apps on Apple TV.
Exceeding advertised speeds – A recent CRTC report confirmed Bell exceeds its advertised Internet download speeds more than any provider.
Fibe TV on your computer – In addition to being able to enjoy Fibe TV on a TV, smartphone and tablet, Fibe TV now offers access to up to 450 live and on demand channels directly on a computer via fibetv.ca.
Wi-Fi innovation – Bell introduced the Home Hub 3000, which provides broad and reliable Wi-Fi coverage throughout the home and supports total Internet speeds of 1 Gbps.
Access to CraveTV and Netflix directly on your TV – Fibe TV customers can access CraveTV directly through their Fibe TV receiver along with Netflix – now also available in 4K. No extra equipment or set-up is required.
My Bell app – We’re constantly upgrading our MyBell app to make it easier for clients to manage their account on the go.
